In 2020, Matt was part of the team that filed that first-of-its-kind class action against universities seeking to compel universities to return money they collected for services they shut down or discontinued in response to Covid-19. This was a novel theory that Matt conceptualized and, working with leading class action attorneys, brought to life with several cases across the country.
