As a law student, he was selected as a Fellow in the prestigious Corboy Fellowship in Trial Advocacy and went on to win the National Trial Championship, distinguishing himself as a natural advocate before he ever passed the bar. He began his legal career at Jenner & Block, one of the nation’s most respected law firms, where he received elite training in complex, high-stakes litigation.

From there, Matt spent years honing his craft at a premier litigation boutique, gaining substantial trial and courtroom experience representing litigants in serious and contested matters. His effectiveness in the courtroom led clients to recruit him into senior in-house leadership roles, where he gained a rare insider’s perspective on how large corporations and their insurers evaluate risk, defend claims, and deploy resources when the stakes are high.
